Sheeeeeeeeeeeit!
Ok, I need help before I break my pc. I am trying to burn some .avi files that I downloaded on a dvd for playback on a DVD player. I am using Sonic's MyDVD LE. I have done this before, but I am now getting an error message that says the following:
My DVD has detected that DMA is turned off for one or more of the recording devices attached to the system. In order to successfully write to the device, DMA should be turned on - refer to your operating system manual or use Windows Help for instructions on how to do this.
If I bypass this error message and try to add a file, I receive the following message:
Could not make a thumbnail. Make sure you have the appropriate decoder installed. -47010.
Does anyone have experience with MyDVD LE and can tell me what is going on? Is there some other software I can use? How do I turn on my DMA?
Thanks in advance for any help that you might be able to provide.
