Premier League (Official Thread)

That is awesome. Still on my list to make it to a PL game.

Our company just got an office in the UK to go global into the EMEA market about a year or so ago. The small group we took over there has close ties to the Everton club, and we even sponsor Tim Howard now. Believe me that I have been hinting at a trip across the pond to help "train" any chance I get.

I hope you can make it. I've now spent a couple weeks in Liverpool over two trips so if you need a bit of Scouse info let me know and I'll try to help. It's odd how Goodison and Anfield are only about a mile apart. I think you have to declare red or blue at birth there.

One must wonder, is @jlb1705 intentionally avoiding this thread as Spurs continue their ascent towards the top of the table? I'd be superstitious about it too.

Well played, @jlb1705. I didn't think to look on the last page to see you've posted in here recently. I guess I've just been so used to you lamenting those #ThatsSoSpursy moments often in seasons past. What a wild season it has been.

Not superstitious - just haven't been spending as much time on BP lately.

No idea who will win this thing. It's been a crazy season. Spurs are still in three competitions. It's going to be a ton of games and with their style of play it's easy to see them wearing down. I'm not of the opinion that they should dial back their effort in the FA Cup or Europa League. With the state of City, Chelsea and United this may be a once in a generation chance they have to try to win the league, but really any trophy would be a fantastic achievement. There's no point in throwing away the chance at one in two other competitions when the league title is no guarantee.

For now I'm just trying to enjoy every match. The players' effort and demeanor make them easy to root for, and that tone has been set by the manager.
