I lived in Puerto Rico for two years and just left last year. There are some great places to visit and some terrible places to go. I would go back in a heart beat for the right job. The language barrier gets to a lot of people. Most Puerto Ricans can speak english and are pretty helpful. Send me an email I would be glad to answer any questions that you may have. I can also point out some great beaches to visit and restuarants to try.

PR sai fine... if you want a carribean island that actually has a city PR is the place for you... There are several very nice resorts fwiw. I have no idea where your "free" housing would be on the island, however I'd go in a heart beat... you can find decent flights from Columbus for $125 round trip if you shop around...
