Purdue Boilermakers (official thread)

Appleby at Florida - 5 TD 2 INT in 93 Attempts

Danny Etling at LSU - 7 TD 4 INT in 187 attempts

Basically they are playing hand off and have worlds better talent around them while at that. Not like they are lighting the world on fire at Florida/LSU either. Not to defend Purdue being ass, but anyone trying to claim they are anything more than average at best QBs needs help with evaluation.

How can they understand a single word that comes out of Orgeron's mouth?

It amuses me to no end that you have 2 Purdue retreads at QB having their best years against those NFL defenses...
And yes, they're average... and they have better talent... but allegedly, their opponents have significantly superior defenses than Big West.

Welp, no Fleck it seems....Pro Football Scoop is reporting WKU's Jeff Brohm is set to the the next HC.

Great coach, brilliant offensively....big ? as is with most is ability to recruit but he knows the area, seems to be able to find QB's anywhere....they are always incredibly fun to watch, let's see how much $ he gets for his assistants and who he can manage to pull as that will tell the story on how likely any success is, but certainly a better hire than some of the other names thrown around (Miles, etc.)

That's a much better hire than Les Miles for a program like Purdue. Miles is a dinosaur. Question is, if Brohm makes them respectable, how long he sticks around.

Purdue the new home for transferring Notre Dame WR

In early December, it was thought that Miami was the front-runner for the services of transferring Notre Dame wide receiver Corey Holmes. Arizona State, North Carolina and UCLA were also schools that the wide receiver was considering.

He's probably an upgrade for Purdue, he was a 4 star recruit out of high school.

Four stars is about 3-1/2 more than average for Purdue.
