QB J.T. Barrett (B1G FOY, All American, Silver Football Award, 3x B1G QBOY, National Champion)

It would be smart to get him some PT. we've seen our share of injuries to know that the next man up needs to be prepared. I don't think Collier has gotten any significant playing time either. I don't know if Braxton is healthy to throw like he used to be able to I wouldn't want to see him re-injure that shoulder again playing QB because of what he means to a Recieving group that is already a couple guys short now from injuries.

If they are planning on using Brax as the red zone QB Saturday his arm better be good to throw and they better prove it on his first snap. Maybe a jump pass to CJ. :p

Steve got busted 2 weeks before the Michigan game and was suspended for 1 game. Scott McMullen got the start for Steve's suspended game against Illinois...a game we lost. Craig Krenzel got the start the next week against Michigan, but I forget how that went.

Also missed the first half of the bowl game against South Carolina. Came in for the 2nd half and led OSU back from a 28 point deficit, only to throw a late downfield interception that was returned far enough to set up USC for a game-winning field goal that went in off the crossbar for a 31-28 victory.

Knowing what my daughter is going through with a labrum injury , my guess would be that at this point post surgery, he can throw. He may not be able to zip it but he should be able to throw it without pain.

I am disappointed it is only one game
I was there, and I still think it should be 2 games, but the precedent set across the nation is 1 game for a first time DUI. So I'm more upset by the precedent than the fact that JT got 1 game. Because while he should have 2 games IMO, him getting twice as much as everyone else gets makes no sense either.

Do we have any idea of the amount of well documented, HD video of violence and mayhem it would take to get a starting QB suspended for a full game in November in Tallahassee?

The mind struggles with such an abstract concept

He'd have to star in a series of CFB Playoff commercials where he broke into someone's house and auctioned off all the belongings on air live... And the only reason that he'd be suspended then is because it was, in fact, documented.

Yeah I know the norm is one game but our policy is 2 games (I get it doesn't apply to a misdemeanor) and this could have been an opportunity to put our money where our mouth is on terns of discipline.

I agree I'm more upset one game has become acceptable because DUI certainly has larger implications. Hope JT learns from this and I don't care if its two beers or twenty don't get behind the wheel it is nor worth it.
