QB J.T. Barrett (B1G FOY, All American, Silver Football Award, 3x B1G QBOY, National Champion)

that is quite a suspension from the game:lol: I do not care if he is a Capt.

Did you ever read the official press release from the University?

Ohio State University student-athlete J.T. Barrett was cited by Columbus police Saturday morning at a campus area check point with a misdemeanor offense of OVI. Barrett has been suspended by head coach Urban Meyer from playing in Ohio State's game against Minnesota on Nov. 7.

Nowhere did it say he was suspended from the locker room, press box, stadium, University campus or State of Ohio.

I clearly didn't say that you said that.
Really, you said I would be fine with it...if that is not inferring that I would say that then I don't know what is. I did say it was the coaches decision and I stand by that. If you have a problem with it then by all means feel free to give Urban a call. Better yet give Gene a call since the University doled out the punishment based on its policy.

I said using that logic, you'd be fine with it. Calm yourself.

1. I would say that a suspension should mean a suspension from the stadium on gameday. He shouldn't have been a part of the team at all on Saturday.
2. But I really don't care that much. If being suspended from playing, but still being permitted in the stadium isn't enough to straighten him, I doubt that keeping him out of the stadium completely would teach him the lesson.
