QB Joe Burrow (transfer to LSU, 2019 Heisman Winner, National Champion, Cincinnati Bengals)

Better passer. Check that--way better passer.

I think that CK was a bit underrated as a passer. The game is totally different now with 3-5 WRs, RPOs, and lots of quick reads and short throws. CK had to drop back and throw fairly rarely and largely down the field to 2-3 options in an offense that nobody would consider as designed to be deceptive, pass-oriented, or especially explosive.

So did Joe essentially win the QB battle here by transferring? Or would his mobility have made up for enough problems of the tOSU offense that he'd be undefeated on either team?

I don’t think he’s efficient enough to lead this team in shoot outs given the holes on defense.

Said before in his Spring Game performances that his deep ball accuracy appeared to be a product of the black no contact jersey and DEs running past him.

He’s a perfect fit for what LSU needed. I don’t think his presence changes OSUs fortunes.

Our D is still... uhhh... what are the words that will not get me banned...
Same for Oline, though maybe they get in a rhythm and we could roll more with Dobbins and Weber?
But I stand with Dryden

JOE BURROW, QUARTERBACK, LSU
The highest-profile player on this list, Burrow decided to transfer from Columbus after not being able to take the starting quarterback job from Dwayne Haskins.

After considering North Carolina and Cincinnati, Burrow elected to head to the quarterback graveyard also known as Baton Rouge, where he will forever be known as Joe Burreaux.

It's been an enigmatic season for Burrow. While the #4 Tigers are 7-1 heading into their clash with Alabama next week, Burrow's individual numbers have not been all that impressive.

So far, Burrow has thrown for 1,544 yards and has a 53.8% completion rate on his passes. Additionally, he has thrown just six touchdowns this season and has three interceptions. By comparison, Dwayne Haskins has 2,801 passing yards, a 71.1% completion rate, and 30 touchdowns.

As long as Burrow keeps winning, however, none of the rest matters.
