QB Lincoln "Dakota" Kienholz (Official Thread)

Ditto.
That’s what I based my answer on.
It's an interesting approach. I thought Day had his eyes on Kienholz as the front runner, or a split of time during the game to get some film. I read Day's comments as Brown just getting the full game pretty much. I get LK is a true frosh and all, but I hope he gets a few chances to show what he has.

Agree with Kienholz but I really think Coach Day is focused on getting a Win for momentum going into next season.

Guess we'll see how well Brown does. If he lights it up, Kienholz might not see the field. Day is shortsighted that way. Very apparent during the 2023 season, as there were times that Devon should have gotten in some licks beyond handing off to a RB. But Day didn't want Brown to transfer/portal by giving Kienholz a shot. So now we have a couple of significantly untested QBs. Hate to see a chess match between coach and players, but seems like the game is turning into that. Heck, don't blame the players, college is a short time, and one wants to get more time, they have to go to a lesser college to get it, or study who has holes, and go there. Go Bucks!

Bumping LKs thread. I want to see Day give him a half in the bowl game. If this is an open competition, let’s get it on and let them both have an equal shot.

Not a fan of splitting halves unless DB really struggles. Splitting halves makes it seem like you're not taking the game seriously IMO. There are other ways to get LK involved.

I imagine Day is going to go with the guy that has more reps and gives him the best chance to win. That's DB based on how involved he was prior to injury.
