I don't think any of them regret their decisions, they all played yesterday and get their paychecks on Friday....doing their dream job. Regret?

So was SNF announcers, real happy to see Troy get his first NFL TD. "Put tthat ball will be besides the Heisman" the announcers stated.

That ass clown receiver didn't have to dive. All he had to do was his job and run through the ball. I don't think he would've even gotten hit. I was yelling at the television, but that miss actually benefitted Troy. He got a much better drive out of the two minutes he had and he proved that he could throw that TD. It was obviously the receiver's fault.

His presence in there was fantastic. Congratulations, Troy.

Good point. Because his punk receiver didn't make the effort, Troy was able to demonstrate what he brings to the table:

Escapability, keeping his eyes downfield, AND taking off with the ball for the TD.

Without that receiver, Troy would have just been average :wink:.

Yes, had it been caught, TS would've been 1 for 1 for a TD on his first NFL pass. That would've been great, but he showed more of the intangibles that make him great because of the miss. I loved the running in order to pass until the last play when he took it in on his own.

it was vintage troy through and through. he managed to show everything he has in a single drive. each of his passes were dead on. the inc in the endzone throw was the perfect spot. the receiver simply wasn't there, noone else had a shot and thats what you are looking for in the pros. his roll out pass was pretty much exactly what he did against everyone in college. he rolled right against heavy pressure keeping his eyes down field giving himself a run throw option and threw a perfect pass to the perfect spot for a completion. noone else had a shot at the ball and he protected the receiver. his touchdown run showed speed, elusiveness and toughness.

for about half a second there i could have sworn i saw buckeyes on the side of his helmet on his rollout throw. :biggrin:

he might have been up against 2nd stringers, but i saw nothing to indicate to me that some part of his game may not translate to the pros. put in any video of him from his last season with tOSU (not the nc game) and you'll see exactly how he played last night.
