RB Carlos "El Guapo" Hyde (Official Thread)

He is a load to bring down. Especially when it's the 4th Quarter and he has pretty fresh legs. But let's also give credit to the OL. They did a great job opening up the holes and containing their blocks in that last drive.

It's was great to see the heart of this team today. On both sides of the ball. Every time they needed to they stepped up. If it wasn't for the turnovers it is not as close as it turned out to be.

No doubt the O line deserves credit but that run late game at 3rd and 4 was HUGE. All the misguided talk by some about Urban and the spread but late in the game when you need the first and what do we do? Run Carlos down their throat. We will always be that kind of team. And I love it .....nice work Carlos.

I think that Hyde should be the #1 featured back in this offense. The kid runs hard, blocks well, and can even play the slot decently. Hall is quick and may have more jitterbug type of moves, but Hyde seems to get more yards due to his brute force running style. Having that inside running threat helps to open up the edge for some of those swing WR screens that Urban likes to run.

Just my opinion from my recliner on a Monday morning. :wink2:
