RB Chris "Beanie" Wells (All B1G, All-American)

This is the first I've read of Beanie's decision. Talk about bittersweet.

Young man, you inspired me. You played ball with a joy and dedication that left me in awe. Yours is the first jersey that I have ever purchased in my 34 years on this planet. Thank you for the memories, Beanie.

And above all, I wish you the best in your future endeavors.

Although not surprising, judging from who made the comment, I found it funny that Mark May on College Football Live chose Beanie as the one underclassman who should've gone back to school.

Out of all of the non-seniors who declared, he chose to denigrate Beanie.

Sure as hell going to miss seeing Beanie run the ball next year. But with the way Boom played at the end of the season(hell all of the entire season) it looks like we will be in good hands next year. I'm sure Beanie had a lot to do with his progression as well.

May did his last show of the season a few days ago. We won't have to listen to his lame analysis until Aug, what a motor mouth. F$%&^%! idiot.

SI lists Wells as #3 RB draft prospect, behind McCoy and Moreno

3. Chris "Beanie" Wells, Ohio State: Wells ran for nearly 1,200 yards last season, despite missing three games with a foot injury. Though Wells' injury history is a concern, scouts cite his production when healthy as an indication he has the potential to be an outstanding feature back. As a tough, hard-nosed runner with deceptive quickness and elusiveness, Wells is a grinder who flashes big play ability. With more teams opting for two-back systems, Wells may thrive as a smash-mouth, complementary runner.

Erroneous. On all counts. #1 without question. Biased aside.

I agree and disagree. Beanie is, without question, the most physically gifted out of the three. But that is a lot of money being invested in him when he may not play a full season. All three of them could get injured at any given time, but he's more prone to it.

With that being said, I would take him first, because I don't think McCoy or Moreno could take an NFL pounding for 16+ games....so if I'm spending money on a RB to miss games, dammit I'll take Beanie every day of of the week.

I really can't disagree with 3. I think Beanie has the potential too be far and above both Mccoy and Moreno, but with the injury problems it is high risk high reward, IMO. btw I love Beanie and wish him the best off luck.

He missed 3 GAMES. 3! I would think this guy never played more than 6 games in a row the way people talk.

Beanie is #1. Nothing to debate. He is the best. He will go top 10.

He missed 3 games, but was dinged up almost his entire career. NFL is a 16 week season and more physical. And you're paying millions and millions of dollars.

I love Beanie, but as a GM you have to take his injury history into consideration. He's 6'3 and 240+ lbs as well. While many see that as a positive because of his size and speed, thats also a huge target that will take a lot of hits.

I'd take Beanie first because I think he has the most potential, but I don't get worked up over draft analysts labeling him as #3. It's a business move more than a talent breakdown.
