RB J.K. "All Day" Dobbins (2017 B1G CG MVP, 2019 1st Team All-American, Los Angeles Chargers)

Not sure what it is about the #2, but whoever dons that jersey number usually does something special. Sure gonna miss seeing JK ALL DAY run up and down the field. Sure those 2 drops he had last night were not ideal but he put it all out on the field last night. Not gonna be mad one bit if he goes to the NFL. Who knows maybe he'll do what Doss and Jenkins did and come back for his senior year and try to win a ring and maybe a heisman.

You know, I've kind of wondered if he might come back. He's got Davis, Myers and Munford all back for what should make a formidable OL. He could actually break Archie's record, something nobody ever thought would happen. He can get the Heisman and perhaps improve his draft stock. Certainly can't blame JK if he leaves, but him staying might not be a pipe dream.

Whatever he does, he's locked himself in as a legend at Ohio State. And I'm not just talking stats. That performance last night was nothing short of amazing and JK has about the biggest balls and heart I've ever seen. I mean he was injured, not hurt last night. I expected him out the rest of the game when he went down with no contact. Then he comes back and while I don't expect much, I'm thinking he's just going out again. Instead, he runs downhill looking to lower the shoulder, picks up crucial blocks on blitzes, and had some big time catches to move the sticks. This thread needs a bump because damn, that was about as much heart and soul you can see in this sport. Kid is a high level NFL prospect and 99% of kids in his shoes sit out the game to protect their NFL prospects. Hell, even kids with no pro prospects might not be able to gut that out. But no, JK comes in and delivers on every level despite a clear injury.

I know he might have dropped a couple critical catches, but that's not what I'll remember about JK from last night. I'll remember an absolute warrior that made huge plays, and left his heart and soul out on that field. Would love to have JK back next year, but will have nothing but fond memories of him here.

This guy has been one of my favorites since the day he committed sight unseen. I hope your dream about him coming back comes to pass, because I'll definitely enjoy one more year of JK Dobbins.

I just posted about how Wade is relatively underappreciated nationally. One can say the same about JK. If you gave me a pick for my running back and my choices were JK Dobbins and Jonathan Taylor (a great back in his own right) I take Dobbins every. single. time. Hell, I'll take Dobbins over any other RB in college right now... and quite a few professionals.

Everything I have seen has him going between 20-35. 1st RB taken before Taylor and Chubba. As a RB, the career expectancy in the pros, the hits, wear and tear, ect...... I just don't see him coming back.

Yeah, he's put in three solid years in college with one being the primary back. Time for him to get paid. We'll all celebrate him getting his diploma when he does, but for now... he's got his terminal degree for his first job.

It's been a hell of a joy ride watching him play... and what a great dude. I still have vivid memories of his reaction to getting B1G CG MVP his frosh year. He was truly shocked. Humble and damn hard worker, he's earned it to get to the next level as soon as possible.
