In the midst of the longest current winning streak in Pennsylvania, Jeannette found itself in unfamiliar territory its past two games, trailing Charleroi and McGuffey.
But on Friday night, thanks in large part to five first-half Washington turnovers, the Jayhawks built a 33-point lead and rolled to 67-8 Class AA Interstate Conference win at McKee Stadium.

Jeannette (7-0, 7-0) was led by Hall, an Ohio State recruit who a team-high 70 yards and two touchdowns on seven carries.

Jeannette running back Jordan Hall stiff arms Mt. Pleasant's Mike Bulebosh on his way to the endzone on a 2-yard touchdown run during the first quarter Friday, Oct. 17, 2008 at McKee Stadium in Jeannette.

Jordan Hall, who scored two touchdowns, returned the opening kickoff 66 yards to set up Dane Vaughan's first of two scores.

Hall's 14-yard punt return to the Mt. Pleasant 47 set up the next score, a 2-yard run by Hall. The seven play drive was highlighted by a 26-yard pass from Cameron Baradziej to Toddy Harris to the Mt. Pleasant 9.
"Jordan is a horse on special teams," Reitz said. "He's tough to bring down."

WPIAL Class AA: Jeannette outraces Beaver to semifinals
JEANNETTE 57, BEAVER 28

By Chris Adamski, Tri-State Sports & News Service

The touchdowns kept coming -- a combined 12 of them, in fact -- and the scoreboard kept lighting up as big play after big play was made. Soon enough, the proverbial analogy of referring to last night's WPIAL Class AA quarterfinal game between Beaver and Jeannette as a "track meet" became en vogue.

In a game that featured 445 yards rushing by Beaver Falls, the biggest play for the Tigers was a 12-yard pass ... their only completion in the WPIAL Class AA semifinal played last night at a packed Pine-Richland Stadium.

Hall considering Pitt visit.............Hall is solid with tOSU but may take a visit to Pitt. Mentions the tOSU staff has him working at RB, PR and KR. Hall will focus on improving his speed and is targeting 200 pounds as his playing weight.

With Berry also considering other visits, its is important we get one of them. I like them both. Hall is a Buckeye IMO. TP does not hurt our chances either. Good luck young man!

Jordan Hall
Barry Reeger/Tribune-Review

Jeannette running back Jordan Hall exemplifies why Ohio State could have a highly rated, but otherwise uneventful, national letter of intent day today.

Hall plans to keep his nonbinding verbal commitment and officially join the Buckeyes this morning, when high school players across the country put their signatures on the line.

Before Jeannette's basketball game Tuesday night at East Allegheny, Hall, who rushed for 946 yards and 18 touchdowns last season, confirmed that other schools tried to change his mind, but he refused to budge.

"They didn't match up to Ohio State," he said. "It's really been Ohio State the whole time."

Asked why other recruits decommit, often at the last minute, Hall said, "I think that people probably rushed them into it, and they really didn't look into everything that the college had."
