RB Michael Weber (New Jersey Generals)

There's an all-time great NFL running back that I'm reminded of every time I watch Weber run.

Weber is ~5'10" and 210 lbs.

Weber always has the ball in his left hand.

He's not the fastest, most explosive, or most powerful RB, but his excellent vision allows him to be really effective.

He breaks more tackles than you would expect for a RB his size.

Who does that sound like? Emmitt Smith.

Now I realize the odds of Weber having the same career as Smith are practically 0, but their styles of running are practically identical.

Still going to be hard for him to miss the rookie wall around Week 10 or so.
I think sharing the rock with JT, Dontre and Curtis may help with that.
Has that burst to get around corner... wondering if he has that gear to take it to the house
I was wondering the same. He looks like he can wear down a defense but not break a long one at this level, yet. But we're only 3gms into his career and a bunch of B1G cupcakes are coming up for him to earn more game reps

Pretty sure Weber is looking better after three starts than Zeke did. Now I think the whole team is playing better then the 14 team early on...it took that team until Michigan State to really show what they were capable of. I also don't think Weber will ever end up as good as Zeke at his best and we don't need him and every future back to be the best ever. Just way above average will do :oh::io:

Every time I see him run I think of Carlos Snow. The resemblance in their running style is uncanny.

Also, did they go with a darker grey in the pants this year or something? That Tulsa game in the rain with the stadium lights on looked like the '85 Iowa game every time I just looked up at the screen. Is it just me?
