Red (scarlet) Out Michigan State

I am fundamentally against the White Out for the MSU Game for multiple reasons:


1. Our school colors are Scarlet (Red) and Gray
2. Michigan State's colors are Green and White
3. The Izzone already wears white when trying to intimidate other teams
4. The OSU Athletic Department is NOT providing any sort of "White out the Spartans" Shirt.... Free shirts or even cheaply available shirts are the norm for this type of event.
5. Look how well the OSU vs. PSU Football Red/Scarlet Out worked! It can be done, for the most part, in a 100,000+ seat stadium, it can be done at the Schott



Please do your part and RED Out Michigan State this Saturday.:osu:

If Coach and the team want white, then I think White it should be.

Why must we always complain when we are asked to wear a color to a game?

Why red out Penn State in football?

Why white out MSU in basketball?

Every other school does this with no complaints, and yet here we are complaining that Thad Matta wants us to all wear white. GROW UP!!!!

PLUS, ESPN Gameday has already planned a segment I heard to feed off of the white out at the game. so please, just wear white!!!!!

it was announced twice i believe saturday at the game. ive also recieved info from the athletic department on it...

Matta said on his weekly show on 1460 that it was his idea. I know white isn't one of our colors, but I would hope anyone going to the game would wear white to support Coach Matta.
