IMO something that was a big deal (negatively of course), would result in some kind of punishment, rather it be big or small. A perfect example was the Jamal Berry incident, if you went over to the wolverine boards, the topic could possibly have a post record lol. It was a bad situation, but I didn't go crazy and post twice as much as I would about something positive.

I guess all I am saying is... give it some time before you start accusing people. We just had a situation a few weeks ago where a big rumor got started on our board and made it's way to Mlive.

You are absolutely correct. We should follow te lead of scUM fans and not jump to conclusions or start accusing people before giving enough time for all the facts to come out. You know, like they behaved during the MoC investigation and Pryor recruitment. :roll1:

The major thing that sticks out to me is not the workload, that's common, that happens even at a place like Harvard.

The major problem for Michigan is the snitching. That's why he broke down on the podium, I doubted he saw that coming.

I don't know. If I saw a program, my program, heading off the cliff, if I were dealing with the pressure of winning in Ann Arbor (funny, I thought that kind of craziness only took place in Columbus and towns south of Lexington, KY 'cause at Michigan we were more concerned with academics...), if I were facing a resurgent ND program in two weeks and didn't have a QB, if I looked at Penn State and Ohio State and saw two train wrecks waiting to descend, I'd be ready to blow my nose and sing "Willow Weep for Me" too.

Hey lay off jthorp, I'm gettin accustomed to him around here. Besides, I think that he meant the story is not that big of a deal in the grand scheme of things, and that it won't have a lingering effect in the SCUM'ers approach to the WMU game.

The WMU game, which they would struggle with under the best of circumstances, is now 4 days away. The head coach is holding a crying press conference and the team, from what we can gather, does not have his back.

If their approach is to lose to yet another mid major then your probably right. Otherwise I think they are fucked.

when it comes to family atmosphere and treatment of players, would now be a good time to bring up Pat White trying to kick the shit of DRod during his parting words from WVU??? Pat didn't seem to enjoy the double talk of Rich and promises broken....

I'm down with that. What is most amazing is a group of successful, apparently intelligent, educated men could even want to hire the guy.... Let alone do it and watch while he kills a program.

I don't think you should be surprised. Look at how Kentucky just hired Calipari after their proud program was floundering. Similar traditions, and desperation at the time. Many even supposedly intelligent, educated men will rationalize a quick fix and disregard potential long term consequences. Although I don't know how often you're going to see Kentuckians referred to as educated and intelligent.

I would enjoy a link from the Pat White interview. Never heard about that before. Not that it surprises me. You're just a pussy who doesn't have the desire to win if you take moral stands against Dick Rod's tactics.

I'm still surprised they ran Tubby out. I guess I'm easily surprised...
