That was USF. God I wish somebody had a screenshot of that. :slappy:

My GF actually said "Is that coach crying?".

No, I know he was crying in the USF game but later in the year he did the same thing vs UC, it just didn't get as much play because they didn't actually lose I guess.

His boys made a couple of critical late fumbles and you could just see the oh shit/what do I do/I'm scared so I'll start tearing up look come over the guy. Bottom line is UC wasn't good enough to make them pay but you could literally see the entire WVU team, including RR, tense up and try to choke that one away.

Give the old crusty bastard his due, he never cried like a little bitch when he was getting it handed to him out on the field. For that matter our own recent practitioner of the blank stare of doom, John F Cooper, never cried to the best of my knowledge. He made a lot of other people cry, but he always took it pretty well.

Dick Rod is so out of his depth its just sick and I can't think of a more deserving bunch of cocksuckers to have him coach for.

So much for adapting his scheme to fit his talent, it certainly seems like he's dead-set on pounding his two limited square QBs into a round hole.

It will be quite frustrating when he has that team clicking (might be a few years). Not only from how hard it can be to stop at times, but how gimmicky it is to watch. It's certainly innovative but a pretty far divergence from "real football" :p If it beats OSU, I doubt anyone will care.

There was some stubborn and overdone playcalling during the loss. The worst one was the repeat of the frozen-OL trick. The first time it caught Utah off-guard and went for a big play (thanks to the WR beasting downfield). But then he pulls it out again, during Threet's first drive no less? Weak sauce.

I don't know why we feel the need to bash RR and TSUN. For over a century now we have been told how they are the Harvard of the west. Another Duke, etc. Finally, they have a football team to match. SEC has Vandy, we have TSUN. ACC has mid-tier schools like Wake, we have Northwestern. TSUN can at least aspire to be fair like Northwestern one day.

The best part is he showed it this early in the year. By November 22nd our guys will be well prepared for it. If the ball is snapped, their OL stand still and you don't hear a whistle....go kill the QB.
