Richard Washington dismissed from NCST

Let's not forget that Washington dubbed himself "ROY" (meaning "rookie of [the] year") at NC State. Of course, being academically ineligible as a freshman, he had to wait until his sophomore year to make his grand pronouncement (which unfortunately did not come true).

Any way, best of luck to you, Richard. You'll need it....

Is there still any doubt, this kid, had he gone here, would have been a constant source of trouble?
Nope. But one does wonder if the NCAA should be looking into whatever it was that is between him and Amato, I mean they played Ohio State. Doesn't guilt by association count for anything anymore?

At least he picked a school where he'll find a hot gf.... the girls at Ol Miss are out of this world!!!

As far as football is concerned, best of luck to him... thank goodness he isn't in our house. We've had enough issues over the last couple of years...

We should just consider ourselves very lucky. I think we "dodged a bullet" by not getting him.

Ole Miss (and Ed Orgeron who is Petey's former defense line coach) is welcome to him. Orgeron doesn't look that stupid, but who knows?

"He was true to his word. I wanted to tell him I wanted to go to Ohio State, but he still was mad about losing to them. I didn't want to make him madder."
LMAO

either dude is pretty clueless, or he's trying to be funny... Tressel wouldn't even let him walk on... not to mention the fact that the 'ROY' probaby woudln't even see the field... our depth chart ain't exactly lacking when it comes to top notch WR talent...

Obviously Ole Miss doesn't have the luxury of OSU to turn away great athletes like this kid b/c of the baggage b/c they get mostly overlooked by players who end up going to bigger name SEC schools. What was he thinking that he could just walk in here after playing us on signing day and making empty threats like he's gonna make us pay when we played?? He needs to get a reality check and hopefully this was it.

This is not the first time that I have been glad that Richard Washington re-negged his commitment to tOSU. Back when, there were all kinds of Buckeye fans pissed off that he could do this to us, but what did we know? This is just another sign that we should trust the coaches and let it be. He apparently held a grudge against tOSU by saying we must have missed out. Fast forward to the present day, and, well, RW is just another bullet we thankfully dodged. Missed out on a whole lotta nadda. Plus beating NCST twice was just icing on the cake (anyone seen Derek Morris?) Back then the saying was that we may have burned bridges in the recruiting war, when in reality, we come out smelling like roses. Once again, JT knows what the hell he is doing, and we have no business guessing for him. Way to go coach.

I go and make a post like that, and now I'm wondering if I confused RW with DaJuan Morgan. Either way, good luck in life Mr. Washington.
