Rose Bowl: USC 38, Penn St. 24 (Final)

I'm going to be honest here... With the way Pete Carrol gets his guys to play in big games I think someone thats a junior has to leave USC for the NFL.

If Beanie comes back then man oh man we're gonna be tough too, but USC's offensive line right now scares the hell outta me.

Of course Herbie the hater states that USC has beaten the Big 10 8 in a row by an average of 25 points. It may be true, but how has USC done against the SEC? I recall them beating Auburn and Arkansas home and away by some pretty high numbers. However, pointing this out would ruin Herbie's hating on the Big 10. A little more fair and balanced Herbie -- USC would beat everyone this year (except Oregon State).

Are you serious? Quit trying to make excuses.......the Big Ten has gotten their asses handed to them by the big time programs over the past few years. It drives me fucking nuts when people try to spin it. Call it what it is........a down time for our conference as a whole.

Mark Sanchez seems classier than his coach does. I was pretty hammered after the end of the Ohio State game, but I remember him being pretty respectful in the post game interview and he was here as well despite the two blow outs.

What happened to the "best of all time" talk about USC's defense, I mean - yeah, there a fine defensive unit with some great NFL prospects. But I don't think their anything outside of best of this year...

edit: oh yeah, USC finished with 61 total yards rushing... man they lit up PSU's secondary.

I think Pete Carroll is, from a pure wins-and-losses standpoint, the best coach in college football, and the Trojans are the best team this season.

That said, from a holistic standpoint of class, human development, and leadership, there's no one I'd rather have as HC of tOSU than Jim Tressel.

hahaha gosh... They give up points in the second half and all the sudden we're questioning if they're the best defense this year? They are the best defense BY FAR nation wide, HANDS DOWN. I think their defense played lazy that second half considering they were up 38-7 early in the 3rd quarter.
