I loved the comment that was left "Are you stupid? The Big Ten will sell every ticket"

Lol, I agree.

Seriously. This is the Rose Bowl they're talking about. How long as it been since Wisky has been there. 10 years? Those fans are going to be there in droves and they will be excited. We'll be seeing that stadium jump around at the end of the third, just like a home game.

Well, the fine folks at the Badger-Herald are pissed. Student tickets were limited. Some students were fortunate to get them before they sold out in twenty minutes, other students seek to profit and sell at higher than face value on Craigslist, Facebook Marketplace, Stubhub, etc.

Whether what the BH is doing is extortion, libel/slander and/or defamation seems to be personal opinion, but the comments are pretty good.

It should also, Wisconsin is the one of just two teams in the Big Ten that has been able to be counted on to take care of business when they get on the big stage.

Big Ten record in Rose Bowl Games by team since 1990:

Wisconsin: 3-0
Ohio State: 2-0

Penn State: 1-1
Michigan: 2-5
Northwestern: 0-1
Purdue: 0-1
Illinois: 0-1
Iowa: 0-1
Big Ten record in BCS Games by team since 1998:

Wisconsin: 2-0
Ohio State: 5-3

Penn State: 1-1
Iowa: 1-1
Michigan: 1-3
Purdue: 0-1
Illinois:0-2

They may not get there very often, but when they do they finish the deal. I'll be shocked if they don't win this game comfortably.

One of the things you've got to look at when your talking about bowl games..is how teams are going to simulate what the other team does when they have a month to prepare. Like when we were playing Oregon last year with their spread attack using Pryor or a receiver to simulate Masoli and what not.

How on earth is TCU going to simulate what Wisconsin's mammoth line blowing their undersized linemen right off the football? Hit up the local zoo for some bears to bring out onto the practice field? There is nothing their line can do to simulate what Wiscy will do in full on contact drills. TCU is just going to have to play sooo lights out to have a chance at stopping Wiscy.

TCU's starting OL averages 319 pounds - they might be able to figure something out.

I can see Wiscy blowing the TCU defense to hell, but I think that the TCU offense creates some mismatches for the Wiscy defense as well. TCU seems to have that gimmick system that uses small, fast athletes in space from what I've seen. Wiscy's defense is hard nosed and big/strong but not really set up to defend against a spread attack. This might be a good game but I think the Badgers will get it done for sure.

Only 1 of those guys is actually bigger then 319 pounds. Besides the left tackle Wiscy is bigger at every spot on the line.

It's also about physicality and not just weight of course
