Oh I agree other then maybe on D this was not a toughness loss. And on D they had a lot of trick plays McCarthy making good and a few lucky plays. Plus as we saw in the snap counts they didn't fucking rotate. Which I'd argue made a much larger difference

The relationship the team has with the S&C Coordinator is special, especially given the off-season contact rules. This is a big hit emotionally for UF. I mean, we'd be tickled to take anyone else's coaches, so we are hypocrites. But losing current coaches to tOSU will hurt more than the former one. He was already gone.

But again, congrats. I obviously think he is a good get.

Most coaches want their own guy in this important position. I remember Dave Kennedy being let go by Jim Tressel.

I just hope (and anticipate) the S&C levels staying up and/or improving under Mariotti.
