Does anybody have a video clip of Nate Salley's hit during the 3rd? quarter? That was one of the best hits i have seen in college football.

It was a good hit, but will reinforce some bad habbits. He wasn't wrapping his arms on that hit, and that has allowed some okay plays, to become big plays. You need to wrap. You can still hit like a missle as long as you wrap.

And speaking of that hit, the crowd went NUTS when Salley knocked him out. Guy definitely didn't know where he was (once he got up, that is...)

That was a great hit, but, and I hate to say it, that michigan - Purdue hit was a thing of beauty. The one guy laid him up and the other one came with a blow to jar the ball loose.

I didn't know you could hit someone that hard when they were in mid-air and not coming right at you. That was a blast.

Not exactly the point. Salley has taken bad angles on run support, misplayed countless balls in the air, and gone for the big hit, without wrapping up too many times for me to give him a free pass for a really good hit. Like Killernut said. {paraphrase}The reaction from a hit like that just reinforces the go for the big hit, and screw the fundamentals, mentality.

It also makes opposing wide-outs think twice about the route they are running. I am in favor of having an "assassin" out there.

Does anyone have the video of 215 lb Nate Salley utterly destroy 323 lb meatchicken guard D. Baas sending him a--hole over elbows?

If you could please put a copy on here or pm me a copy it would be greatly appreciated. I know a scummer who would definitely enjoy viewing that hit again after all his talk of the scum Oline..
