Shane "LLLL" Morris (Former ttun Backup QB, transfer to Central _ichigan)

Why do some people think Gardner will go pro after this year? Are we talking about the same Gardner that didn't even cross midfield in the second half of the game? And was 3-2 as a starter? The amount of Hype Gardner and Morris get for doing absolutely nothing is very amusing. My HS QB had stats that were better than Morris.

You never know about the NFL from one year to the next with all the coaching turnover. All they would need is for one or two teams to install the jump ball offense and Gardner is a sure fire first rounder.

If Sugar Shane gets any time on the field against the Buckeyes it will be like freaking shark week out there with him as the chum. Afterward, he will be in therapy the rest of his career at scUM.

Michigan QB Shane Morris' development speeding up with Russell Bellomy on the shelf

"I would say he is (ahead a little bit)," Hoke said Thursday. "It's great to have a smart quarterback. Being a smart quarterback and being a wise quarterback under heat time with guys chasing you around and decisions that you make, those are two different things.

Just a small difference coach.

"Shane and Brian are doing really well, they're competing really well and I like what I'm seeing," Gardner said. "During our first 7-on-7 drill, we completed pretty much every pass -- and they're young guys. That was refreshing.

Yes we all know Shane is a 5 star All American in 7 on 7 drills.

I saw Shane drop a pretty pass to Treadwell in the UA game that was broken up by a great play from Hargreaves. It was a 25-yard fade to the endzone. Showed a lot of promise.

Kid has a 5-star arm. The problem for him will be how he deals with pressure. If the OL gives him solid protection in his career at Michigan and he has the weapons (looks like he will with Harris and Campbell) he could end up looking very good. But I'd put his pro potential at a minimum because it seems clear that he gets shaken when under any kind of pressure.
