When Shaq was here, I really liked him, he did a lot of great things for the city and when they won the first championship he helped fix what a lot of idiots burned down. That being said, his attacking of the Lakers organization and players is going to keep his jersey from hanging up in Staples center if he continues this onslaught every off season. Kobe is in a great position, he's got 3-4 more great years left, and a few more good years after that. Shaq is washed up, great in his prime, but that's long gone, now he's the anchor that will slow down a very talented phoenix team.

While this all true OC, Shaq still felt like Kobe ran him out of town. Jerry B., in Shaq's mind, asked Kobe what he wanted, and that was for the Lakaers to be his team without Shaq. Shaq got shipped in favor of Kobe. That hurt his ego.

But Shaq won a title immediately after being outed in LA, with a lesser calibre player in D-Wade. If Kobe doesn't win another title, Kobe will forever be known as a great player who won his titles on the coat-tails of Shaq. Fair or not.

They both have huge ego's, and I think it's pretty obvious Shaq wanted LA to lose in the championship as much as Kobe wanted to win it. And Shaq's line about Kobe being the 'cause for his divorice doesn't seem like "fun" even if that's what he's stating now.

I'm not going to lie, I love seeing the behind the scenes type stuff like this. I wish superstars had a few too many in them more often and grabbed the mic. It'd be fun to listen to Paul Pierce talk about a hit on Al Horford or any other dirty laundry that should be public knowledge....

:tongue2:

(Figuratively) Shaq has never been the bigger man about the split. He always ends IMO coming off as a huge prick.

Bill Walton was absolutely right about him earlier this year when he called him out. Shaq acts as if he has free reign to be a bitch and talk about other players because he has 4 rings (that he probably wouldn't have without Kobe, DWade/Officials). And he's not now, nor has he ever been, better than Kareem as he so incorrectly suggests in his ridiculous so-called diss rap.
