Being that those guys at rivals.com were the main instigators of the J. Berry decommitment rumors that have since been refuted, I don't know if I put much stock into their decommit rumor mill. BUT, wouldn't that be something if USC lost THREE of their top commits on NLOI day? The Burfict and Carroll rumors have been swirling for months now so rivals may have something there. I just wanna see the look on Petey's face if it all goes down as predicted. Then Luginbull and Cowturd will cancel their wearesc.com memberships out of disgust.

That would be awesome and hopefully they swing and miss on all the remaining (though it seems they will get Jarvis Jones). Either way, it would be sweet to see them NOT clean up on NLOID, but they always seem to pull some surprises.

I'm really looking forward to signing day tomorrow. Covering the event at 7AM at Colerain for our website (only 1 D1 signing this year: LB Damon Sims to Indiana) and then the rest of the day will be spent in front of the TV tuned to ESPNU with my laptop logged into Buckeyeplanet.com...its almost like Christmas!

Are any of these guys not going to redshirt? usually the guys that come in early are trying to get a jump on early playing time right?

I know you weren't asking me...

It seems to me that part of the motivation for early enrollment in this class would be to free up more schollies for this year. Just my $.02.

thats a good point. that is clearly motivation for the school, and maybe a condition upon the offer.

For the kid, to miss half their senior year of high school and then redshirt, doesn't seem like it would be desired by them necessarily.

Right, I would agree for the most part...but, with the type of kids JT is bringing in, I could see a few of them putting the good of the team and their class ahead of personal wants. Especially with Boren, Klein, and Homan.

Well, you definitely didn't go to my high school.
