SimPLLLLLLLe Jim "6-13" Harbaugh (B1G Suspenders McKhakiPants, Cheater Cheater Booger Eater)

Aspergers is not the same as regarded, in fact, my highly educated, PHD in Chemistry from tOSU, nephew has Aspergers. He's brilliant, and skilled in the lab, but you don't want him as a sales rep. I don't know what Hairball is. He's not your Urban Meyer, super organizer, and leader type. He's not your Brian Kelly, one-step-from-manic type. He's not your Ed Orgeron, dumb as a bag of rocks outside of football, but knows how to bring in talent. He's not Matt Campbell, hyper enthusiasm and energy. He's a flawed personality, stuck with a quarterback's ego, and in over his head.

I know it's not the same as retarded.

I just like calling him a retard.

That’s why I think it’s important to highlight that in addition to wherever he falls on the autism spectrum and its impact on his ability to attract and retain quality assistant coaches and recruits, he’s also just an unlikeable asshole on top of everything else.

Seven college football coaches under the most pressure entering the 2021 season
Not all pressure is created equal, and these seven will surely be feeling it later this year

Jim Harbaugh, Michigan

The Wolverines hired Harbaugh in 2015 with one goal in mind: win the national championship. Five seasons later, that seems like something out of an expensive fantasy movie. Harbaugh's team hasn't won the Big Ten East or topped heated rival Ohio State during his tenure in Ann Arbor, Michigan, and the national perception of the program is that it's a punchline to a very poorly-formed joke. Harbaugh's restructured contract provided a little bit of relief for the program, but there's no doubt that the school's big investment in its former star quarterback-turned-coach needs to pay dividends now. Not later. Now.

Harbaugh was hired in December, 2014. I would would have let that go, CBS, but it’s now 6 seasons later, not 5. Maybe they didn’t count last season since they quit?

There’s also a really obvious disconnect between the first sentence “The Wolverines hired Harbaugh in 2015 with one goal in mind: win the national championship.” and the last “there's no doubt that the school's big investment in its former star quarterback-turned-coach needs to pay dividends now. Not later. Now.”

They’ll be pretty fortunate to be significantly over .500 this season, much less competing in the playoffs, given how mediocre their recruiting/roster is, how horrible their team chemistry is (transfers, entitlement, quitting on the previous season, etc.), their completely revamped and unproven coaching staff trying to do things like implement a 3-4 without DTs or LBs, and a brand new QB in a system that has produced trash no matter who they plug in.

They might as well say they think he should be/will be fired.

Yeah, I'll predict 4 probable wins, 5 probable losses, and 3 toss ups:

Western Michigan Broncos...win
Washington Huskies............loss
NIU Huskies.......................win
Rutgers Scarlet Knights.......win
at Wisconsin Badgers..........loss
at Nebraska Cornhuskers.....win
Northwestern Wildcats.........toss up
at Michigan State Spartans...toss up
Indiana Hoosiers.................loss
at Penn State Nittany Lions..loss
at Maryland Terrapins.........toss up
Ohio State Buckeyes...........loss

I'm not so sure about Rutgers. If Schiano can get that recruiting class playing early, Rutgers might put more talent onto the field.

I don't know anything about the MAC, but considering the number of rats abandoning the ship, it seams likely that the S.S. Wolverine has a good chance of springing a leak against one of those MAC teams. Other than Northwestern being in major rebuilding mode, I think it's a good list. There's a fair chance that TTUN is .500 or worse this year.
