Single knot or Double knot?

How do you tie your shoes?

I go for the double knot. Nothing's worse than having to stop in the middle of doing something and re-tie your shoes.

I tie my shoes in a single knot the day I bring them home from the store, then I never tie or untie them again. From that point forward all my shoes are slip-ons.

The heels on my shoes are fine. I'll get five years out of a pair of my most well worn tennis shoes, 'til the tread and soles are worn completely off and down to the waffle.

I just retired my last pair of KSwiss a month ago that I bought back in '04 when I was running every other day. They're my mowing shoes now.
