Some BCS facts for your SEC friends

Not by much. We both get OU, ASU & Cal are about Equal, Miami is a fucking Farce these days so Colorado is a step above them. We got no one in our OOC to match USC though.

Edit: Forgot these: Va Tech is better than N.C. State too.
Today, you're right...some of those programs are up in the air though...could end up being jokes we play and mosters you play.

Both OOC schedules are lacking....no SEC teams are on it!

If you both scheduled SEC games that did not count in-conference, you'd lose, but gain great respect!:tongue2:
We're not crazy, we need games where we have a chance to win. :p

Definitely right about that one. Arizona was 12-1 and ranked pretty high the year we scheduled them, they tured out to be complete hoorseshit when the 2 games came around. Fresno St. looked like a good one too. Their QB choking is the only thing that stopped them from beating "The Greatest Team in History", then they go 0-9 or something the year we get them.

I don't care about records this year.....there is NO WAY Colorado is a better opponent than Miami...especially several years down the road

Maybe.....I think Miami has serious program wide issues to deal with first.....the entire attitude surrounding that program seems to be lackadaisical.....

Meanwhile I think Dan Hawkins will get Colorado back to respectability at least.....

If I had told you 5 years ago that Kansas would be a better team than Texas or Michigan this year what would you have said?

Miami has had back to back bad years, and appear to be heading the wrong direction. Colorado at least looks like they're making strides at improving themselves.

Maybe I worded it incorrectly.....There is a reason we scheduled Miami and not Colorado. We are looking for the best of the best competition. Colrado/Kansas/Missouri will all rise up and have a good/great year from time to time, but none have the same perception as a Miami.

Not to mention, even in a bad year, take a look at how many players Miami will have drafted this year. They still have many players, just a lack of coaching/unity and a quarterback.

I think the point I'd like to make is, OSU is out looking to challenge themselves in games they can easily lose. Scheduling a team like Colorado is scheduling a BCS conference team, expecting to win when you ar an LSU/OSU/USC.

Miami's recruiting again, they'll be back. Too much talent in their own backyard to stay as horrible as they've been.
It isn't as if the class ranking for Miami was low in any of the prior 6 years though. The problems at UM south run deeper than hard bodies or the lack thereof.

Sounds like the Washington problem we had, that basically ruined this years OOC credability.

Ohio State also has an H&H with Cincinnati coming up. 2012 is @ UC, 2014 is @ The Shoe. I'm guessing the at UC will be @ Paul Brown Stadium, because that is the only venue in Cincy that could hold enough fans for that game.

Oh, and H&H with Army in '09, '10. '10 is @ Army.

Miami's biggest problem has been a lack of an offensive identity. Like FSU, Miami has had AWFUL QB play and a poor running game the last 3-4 years.

Historically good defense are asked to do the impossible and put up huge games week after week. In the debacle that has become FSU, I feel worst for Mickey Andrews b/c his defenses get picked apart by uninformed FSU fans who think they aren't as good as they used be. It's difficult to keep oponents froms coing when the offense goes 3 & out every other possesion.

As soon as Miami can get there offense going, they will be fine. I really don't think it's talent as much as it is coaching. Again, they continue to have players drafted showing GM's believe they still have the players.
