Some BCS facts for your SEC friends

Freaking Florida!! They only leave the state for SEC games.

Honestly though, an OOC schedule in a given year that includes Hawaii, Florida State, Miami, and South Florida kicks the crap out of any OOC schedule the Buckeyes have ever played. Ever!

Damn that is a tough OOC schedule. Then they play the SEC. Hard to bash Florida for that scheduling.

Go Buckeyes!!!!!!

I don't think that is next years schedule. That is upcoming home and homes. Just like we have home and homes set with Miami, Va Tech, USC.

They aren't all on the schedule next year though.

Edit: after looking at their shedule they do play Hawaii, FSU, and Miami next year. USF is not on the schedule next year. Still a very good OOC schdeule, although Miami and FSU aren't what they should be.

I poked around a bit and found the future schedules for all the Big Ten and SEC teams. I will not list all the OOC games just the ones that are pertinent (so you won't see Toledo, App State, Wofford, etc.). The schedules are from next year to 2014-2015 seasons, but insome cases go even further.

As for ND vs Michigan, that's my favorite non-SEC game of the year, but it is nothing new. Same with Florida vs. Miami and Florida vs. FSU. Great games I look forward to, but nothing new. As for LSU, I am excited we are playing Colorado and Arizona State, but I doubt the rest of the nation feels the same way.

Guys, let's get back on topic. I have moved the bowl destination posts to a new thread, where that discussion can continue.

JohnLSU, it's not clear to me why you think Wingate might have posted something that was not true, but he is a respected poster who's been around here for years.

Yeah, but not leaving the state makes certain that you can get lots of fans to the game and that you play in a weather environment with which you are accustomed.

It's a bit like the bowl games. "Hey, Big Ten, come on down (or out) here for a "neutral" home field advantage game with us."

The kids typically have to deal with jet lag, radical differences in temperature, the 'awe' factor of a strange place. If that doesn't put points on the board as a handicap, then I don't know what does.

Did you even read the entire post? As we know some games although at one time scheduled will never be played (i.e. Ohio State vs. Army). I just posted the most current information available and even stated (underlined below) that the two websites (also shown below) had some discrepancies with each other. And by the way OSU's schedule with all those teams in all probability will happen only Oklahoma is tentative as that game is in 2016-2017. OSU's schedule can be found here also.

Bucknuts.com - Football Schedule

In this world it is next to impossible to know what is going to happen tomorrow much less 5-10 years down the road so I you will have to take the future schedules at face value. But ponder this question: If I was making this up why would I refer to my reference material and cite two different sources (in the case of OSU three)?
To check the veracity all you had to do is to look them up for yourself....

Yeah, Steve. With only a week or so to get used to the strange seventy degree weather and four headed 12 foot tall inhabitants, I could see why your guys would get all discombobulated:shake: And anyway, I see your point that none of your recruits have ever been to all star games and camps or anything, I guess....
