Because he's not just letting it rip and going for it. He's trying to place the ball and time it and everything else. He's not settled yet into the college game. He'll get there. In the meantime the coaches have to call the plays he has confidence in.

Well maybe the coaches should call a few plays he has confidence throwing then...is there a reason he didn't throw 1 screen pass?

How about a bubble screen?

How about short hitches?

I mean, this offense is beyond embarrassing. It's just so innept you wonder if maybe they make a move right now at OC?

Why the hell not? It 100% CANNOT get any worse. This offense is brutal. In fact, our best chance of scoring is if the defense makes a great play.

It's terrible. And it's getting Braxton's college career off on the worst foot possible. You'd think early PT would be great for a college freshman, but this is awful. You're sending Braxton out there to operate a gameplan a chimpanzee drew up. It's unfair to Ohio State fans, the offense, teh team, and most especially Braxton.

It's TERRIBLE.

Sniff sniff, I smell some bans coming.

It's that time of the day, when the Buckeyes are losing, that people tend to lose their shit, which results in losing BP privileges.

Log off, shotgun a beer, scream at your dog.

Shotgun my dog, scream at my beer. Right!

I don't think their jobs matter at this point. Unless the offense finds themselves in the next 5 mins or we get hammered I can't see the coaching staff sticking around with repeatedly awful offensive performances like this.

I get what everyone's saying about the future but does anyone think that the coaches aren't fighting for their jobs this year? No way they do what's best for next year

No offense, but if the coaches care about keeping their job to the point of being counterproductive to the program then I hope we have a new staff next year. Nobody is above tOSU and coaches should be doing what is best for the program.

The Miami game was 2 weeks ago. It was this year. Go look at the box score.

I don't blame Joe, he's trying his best, but going back to him at this point makes no sense to me. I think it does more harm, this year, than good.

3rd down, sparty man's up and sends pressure. Its obvious its coming.

No Screen. Just unreal.

Exactly. Everybody knows they're bringing the house. Why they continue to call 15 yd routes is beyond me. WR screens, RB screens, any type of screen seems likely to work or at least not cost us 7 yd/play via the sack.

I will assume the Bollman has just never heard of a screen pass. Yeah. That has GOT to be it..................

Same thing i was thinking, I know Luke leave the play calls up to him, but at some point, you gotta say enough is enough. Sans all the jokes, maybe Luke really is just the Waterboy

Will someone please inform bollman that it doesn't matter if you have payton manning back there, without anyone blocking you don't have a chance. Our qb has 2 seconds to throw and you have our wr's running 30 yard posts and streaks. Give me a fing break. How about quick slants or 10 yard outs.
