Honey, Frank the Tank is not coming back
I didn't really no where else to post this. Nor have I contacted Deety or 3yards about this but I think I may have an idea how to efficiently and quickly raise the necessary money BP needs for the spring drive.

I'm actually in the process of setting up my own website based on this idea but I figured there would be no better place than here to start it out.

There is a site on the internet called www.YourFreeNotebook.com (there are actually many liek this is just the best example) where you sign up under a referral link, complete one of the free trial offers they supply. Then once you get 6 referrals you receive 300 bucks. The cheapest offers are less than 5 dollars.

I myself have made over 1000 dollars doing this from various sites and have friends that have made over 20,000.

What we could do at buckeyeplanet. Is find say 30 people that would be interested.

I currently have a referral link. 6 peple could sign up for free trials under my link. Then I could transfer the 300 dollars to the BP paypal account. And one of the 6 could in turn have 6 more people sign up for the offer and so on.

I think it would be wise if we all sign up for the same offer so we could have directions for everyone on how and when to cancel the free trial (this is how they make their money, but if you just remember to cancel you are fine).

Say we find 60 people who are willing to do a $4.95 free trial, that is 3000 dollars to BP. Just think about it.

I know this is probably a lot to take in since most if not all of you are new to this, but post some feedback and any and all questions you may have for me.

Oh and by the way this is 100% legal.

I've just been trying to figure out what to do here. It's a generous offer indeed, but given that it involves a third party we don't know (the referral website) and funds would travel through channels BP can't track, I don't think it's a good precedent to call it an official BP fundraiser. We want those to be thoroughly trackable and transparent, which is why we started doing the front-page updates.

I think we can leave the thread for now, but without calling it a BP-sponsored activity.

Thanks for looking for ways to support BP... it's much appreciated! :)

The part about "if people cancel, they will be fine" is the problem with stuff like this. There's always someone who doesn't for whatever reason. They get pissed off and make a big deal about it, causing lots of grief.

You could put MAKE SURE YOU CANCEL somewhere and someone would still manage to miss that part. I used to sell something that required cancellation for a living.. it happens.

Then there's the thing where we don't know if people would actually give that money back to BP (no offense to you). Then people would just be making money by using BP and users would possibly lose money if they didn't cancel or something.

etc

If it worked the way it was planned, it'd be great. Rarely does with stuff like this. IMO
