Yeah, the language is always pretty terrible between Iron Seitz and I. :lol: I'm going to try and be on tonight, but will most likely get some playing time in tomorrow. Gotta enjoy some of that double xp, so I can be a fancy shmancy Shadow Trooper with @jwinslow. :lol:

Deride if you must, but if the Panthers would've started committing penalties after their late fumble they may have been able to stop Denver and make a SB comeback. 8D

Whoever designed the menus in this game should not have a job. I can't read half the stuff on the screen sitting on my couch that's 10 feet away.
I had this problem too.

Took me a long time to realize that the pickups in Fighter Squadron were different and you could tell what they were from far away. I ended up streaming the Xbox to the windows 10 PC I have by the couch and it was much easier to see everything. Once you see all the writing and learn the pickups, you don't need that
level of detail. There is extra lag when streaming to PC so it is harder to play that way. I'd just play on the TV and if I wanted to read something quickly look at the PC. Shit solution but it helped.

You wouldn't know from watching me do it flying in Turning Point, but I can barely see the targets on my strafe runs still. I feel them out with the lasers and when my target turns yellow I know I am hitting someone and I lay down fire until I almost overheat the blasters and then try another target. I can't strafe run worth shit in Supremacy or Walker Assault still. Can't use the minimap and fly with it not being a factor in Fighter Squadron and no other air vehicles in Turning Point.


I then had trouble picking out targets in regular FPS mode / third person mode too. The scan pulse card helps greatly there. Helps the whole team pick out targets so you have less chance of dying generally too.



Going to hop on a little bit here if anyone out there is playing.

Saw it on reddit.

No details and theoretically it could be even better, but that isn't the general feeling.

Most people seem to think it will be something like a longer time to fully charge or a slower cool down, but we will find out Tuesday or Wednesday.


Still an EE3 man myself, though playing with the Jawa shotgun now to clear a challenge. So much fun but I am not as good this way. Just went 4 and 5 on Turning Point with it.

6 more kills to go and then back to the EE3 for me.

Should be a good patch, but we will see.

I really don't see a problem with the pulse cannon. It is way more popular since the patch but that is just because the other star cards suck for the most part. Bring back the bowcaster and you will get some better weapon variety.


I really think design wise most of the star cards should be one shot kills and all those one shot kills should be counterable, though you may need to bring a certain card or trait or do a button move to counter.


I look at it like this.

Rock always beats paper but thinks scissors are overpowered. I don't care what Rock thinks unless perhaps he smells what I'm cooking. . . .

A good designer would have all the moves counterable but still deadly in the right circumstances.


Very excited for a bowcaster buff. That used to be my go to kill machine, now it is just my EE3 blaster. Been rolling with the thermal detonator but it sucks for the most part. Stormtroopers and the Rebels all throw like pussies and have no range on their throw. The thermal will explode on timing too so if you do try and arc it up high and over, it will just explode in the sky like some shitty fireworks.


Sounds like they are buffing the cycle rifle and ion torpedo too. I use the torpedo a bunch so that will help. Been playing a lot of anti air at the last control point on Turning Point. It sucks for my stats but if you can occupy those air speeders it is a big game changer. Only drawback is when you are on the Rebels and get into my speeder everyone is looking for paybacks. Been getting shot down a bunch more, but I still like flying.

Recently got 90+ kills a few times in Turning Point. Have had 3 or 4 games now where I won as a Rebel with still 10 minutes plus on the clock. Definitely ready for new boards.


Oh a new Hoth Walker Assault / Supremacy / Turning Point / Fighter Squadron map too. Also the Princess is getting her Endor Camo and out of them hot Hoth clothes. Still no slave outfit, but I can still dream. . . .

Interesting . not a one shot ? Or have to hit them in the head ?

I've adjusted nicely to the patch and come back to my ee3 for the versatility.

Hardly touched the Pulse Cannon. They slowed down your walking / running speed while scoped in 30%.

Bowcaster is usable again, but you really need to hit with one of the 5 shots to kill.

Turning Point on the other maps is great. Probably me not knowing the maps (or where to find my plane), but man it is a tougher mode now. Sullust was a beast attacking that last control point.

New Hoth board is at night and in a snow storm. Completely new board, not just night and snow either. So far I am loving it despite getting killed routinely.



Probably the coolest thing though was a tease. New map for Endor coming soon, but the option is in the game now and locked out temporarily.

Endor on fire. Sounds like it is after the Death Star 2 blew up and then it rained debris down on the forest moon of endor. All the shit is on fire. Lots of potential.

I'll be on sometime after the Bucks.

Weapon and Star Card Changes

  • Primary Weapons: Damage against air vehicles increased by 10%
  • Bowcaster: Explosion damage increased from 10 to 15 per projectile and explosion radius decreased from 3 to 2.5m
  • Bowcaster: Full charge direct hit from 20 to 40 per projectile and a normal direct hit increased from 20 to 30 per projectile
  • Barrage: Damage increased from 50 to 55
  • Barrage: Cooldown reduced from 40 to 35s (normal) and from 35 to 30s (upgraded)
  • Barrage: First volley of grenades no longer disappear if the user uses the Refresh Power-up and then fires a second volley
  • Homing Shot: Lock time decreased from 1.5 to 1.2s
  • Homing Shot: Players in the AT-GAR turret now receive on-screen notification when locked on
  • ION Torpedo: Speed increased from 350 to 380m/s and turning angle increased from 120 to 125 in order to more easily hit air vehicles
  • Pulse Rifle: Movement speed while aiming decreased by 30%
  • Tusken Cycler Rifle: Movement speed while aiming increased by 40%
  • Tusken Cycler Rifle: Bullet speed increased from 300 to 450m/s
  • Orbital Strike: Fixed bug where it sometimes would not trigger on button press
Vehicle changes

  • A-Wing: Increased hit box size
  • A-Wing: Now properly takes damage when colliding with an AT-ST while having the Shield active
  • Slave I: Players can now see the Shield icon on Rebel vehicles when a Shield is active
  • AT-ST: T-47 Airspeeder kills with a missle while firing the primary cannons at the same time now properly awards a kill (previously registered as a suicide)
  • AT-AT: Fixed bug where the Orbital Strike ability would sometimes not have the aiming reticle move
  • T-47 Airspeeder: Players will no longer receive an out of bounds message on Graveyard of Giants during Turning Point when a control point is captured
Multiplayer Game Mode Changes

  • General: Pre-Round timer lowered from 30s to 20s
  • Walker Assault: Fixed Power-up spawns on SoroSuub Centroplex
  • Walker Assault: AT-AT health increased by 18% on Outpost Beta, 8% on Jundland Wastes, 20% on Forest of Endor, 4% on SoroSuub Centroplex, and 5% on Graveyard of Giants
  • Walker Assault: Spawning as an Imperial Hero after the AT-ATs just pass the second set of uplinks no longer despawns one of the AT-ATs
  • Walker Assault: The second AT-AT no longer bumps into the wreckage of the other on SoroSuub Centroplex when the first AT-AT is destroyed during the first Uplink
  • Droid Run: Correct Objective Notification is now displayed to all players if someone is killed while trying to claim the Droid
  • Droid Run: Improved spawn zones on Dune Sea Exchange
  • Supremacy: Fixed Power-up spawns on Jundland Wastes, Forest of Endor, and SoroSuub Centroplex

Hero changes

  • General: Heroes no longer get stuck in a stunned animation state
  • Princess Leia: Endor outfit updated - Congrats on completing the Lead the Rebellion challenge!
  • Princess Leia: Trooper Bane now only knocks back primary target, not nearby enemies
  • Luke Skywalker: Increased Saber Rush's damage against other Heroes from 2% to 6-8%
  • Luke Skywalker: Lightsaber swing hit radius is reduced from 0.3 to 0.25m
  • Han Solo: Zooming in no longer sometimes displays a gun scope
  • Emperor Palpatine's Shocktroopers: Modified primary weapon damage to match Leia's Honor Guards' primary weapon damage over time
Misc. Bug fixes

  • General: Lighting, textures, audio, user interface, text, and collision fixes
  • Controls: Legacy control schemes have had their layouts more clearly defined
  • Colorblind: Enemy players highlighted with Scan Pulse now have the correct Deuteranopia or Protanopia settings on Graveyard of Giants and Goazan Badlands
  • PC only: Fixed a bug where a player would lose functionality with an Xbox 360 controller after inviting a player to a Private Match and then starting the game
  • PC only: Air vehicle sensitivity lowered from 0.9 to 0.45 for easier mouse control

I've only played it briefly but I like the updates. Endor doesn't seem to work as well for turning point. Sullust would be awesome, haven't done that yet.

Twilight on Hoth is spectacular at night. The white out blizzard and lousy visibility is terrific. The variety of caves and vertical entrances really adds a lot to the maps. I haven't even tried the film grain slider to take it to another level.

Really strong updates. My pulse cannon is still wicked but I'm a sitting duck. That's a fair trade.

Eager to try out the hitbox on the formerly unhittable a-wing (in fighter squadron, anyway)

Rebels are still overpowered in Fighter Squadron with the shields vs speed boost, but you can shoot down A wings now just like X wings. They are still nimble as fuck, but if you do catch them, you can kill them.


No air support on Endor Turning Point yet the Empire gets the ATST's still.

Sullust and Tatooine are great on Turning Point. One of the control points on Tatooine is one of those little above ground huts with the path down inside to the bottom. Insanely small control point. Just begging for a Thermal Imploder to kill 10 or so at once.



I officially suck at this game again. I will adapt.
