Star Wars (May the Force be with you)

Parents buy their children a Kylo Ren mask for Ep. VII...he destroys it in Ep. VIII. Merchandising at its finest (kidding).

I do like the fact Kylo Ren wasn't strong enough to be without the mask and now he is (hence destroying it).

The storyline of there being more than a light and dark side of the force is also intriguing.

To my understanding, and I'm not Star Wars geek, when you align yourself with one side of the force or another you lose the ability to see certain things objectively.

I almost view it in the same realm as the political spectrum. There are beliefs that exist outside of simple Democrats and Republicans.

Watched Rogue One last week. I think it's my favorite Star Wars movie ever. The Vader scene alone...shiiiiiiiiiiiiit. I watched that 2 min like 7 times in a row. It was like Yoda in the prequels but better

Rogue One Vader is played by Spencer Wilding, who was also the White Walker in the Game of Thrones Pilot cold open. That's a pretty cool acting resume.

Whelp - kinda puts the whole Snoke is Palpatine rumors to bed.

Couple of quick thoughts and questions:

1). I hate the whole expanded universe crap and ALOT of this trailer looks to be EU stuff. Not happy about that.
2). Where is my dude General Hux? Did they kill him off when Star Destroyer base blew up?
3). No sighting of Benecio Del Toro or Kelly Marie Tran, two new pivotal characters

Already not a fan of short round being 'a pivotal' character here.
trailer looked good. Not sure what EU stuff you are referring to, tho.

I was watching it and being like... Why? I'm obviously gonna go see it. Kinda wish I hadn't now. But my kid will have it on loop the rest of the week picking it apart.
Wait. . . They let you breed?

The trailer was okay. I don't get it. I don't know the EU though. I feel like it revealed a lot to informed people on the universe, and nothing to others.

2-story 'Star Wars' replica in yard for Halloween is big hit

A two-story, "Star Wars"-inspired Halloween yard display in Ohio is enticing kids to get toy lightsabers and attracting hundreds of visitors from across the state.

Elevator mechanic Nick Meyer, 39, spent about $1,500 and 10 hours a weekend for half a year to build a replica of the four-legged All Terrain Armored Transport, or AT-AT walker. He built it with his carpenter friend Anthony Paroda, and it's been such a success that spectators are donating money for them to build another display next year.

At 19 feet, the replica is nearly as tall as Meyer's home in Parma, a Cleveland suburb. The cockpit of the AT-AT walker is outfitted with lights that glow red at night, and a mannequin fashioned to resemble a "Star Wars" Stormtrooper soldier stands guard in front.
