TE Jeremy Ruckert (New York Jets)

I think without a doubt his career will be better in the NFL, as he has a great catching and route running arsenal. I wish OSU was able to use him so much better in the offense, and I’m sure just about everyone would agree with that. But what I think OSU has helped him with immensely, is his blocking and turning him into a well rounded TE. Unfortunately his lack of any stats is going to make his ceiling about the 3rd round, IMO. But he can have a very long career and make up for it in the 2nd contract.

I agree…Ruck reminds me a lot of Mark Andrews. He’s going to be a very very good NFL player.

Happy for Jeremy in the sense he got selected by his favorite team growing up. But I am nonplussed (to put it lightly) on where he ended up. The Jets are a disaster of a team, Wilson is going to be the next Ryan Leaf, and he starts off behind Uzomah. And the NYJ use TE's about as much as OSU. The only possible silver lining here is that the Jets admittedly had an incredible draft and perhaps not even NYJ can screw up the talent they got.

Either way, got selected on Day 2 and I will be rooting for Jeremy. True Buckeye and I think he goes Round 1 if he was in an offense that uses the TE more in the passing game, but he never once complained. Go kill it Jeremy.

I don’t know.
Saleh seems like a good dude and someone you’d want to play for.

Judging Wilson on last year when he was hurt most of the year and had zero weapons seems harsh.

They have been an awful franchise but the new regime deserves some time.
