It probably had more to do with a dislike of mustard.

He would've gotten a mint NIL deal for mustard products at 10rc

I don't know, I'm assuming it's made up. But, imagine it was true and he STILL didn't pick you.

It really wasn’t an insult. And it was Zach Smith. IIRC it was nothing more than general commentary regarding choosing a place for development as opposed to taking a bigger NIL deal. He used Tate as one example, among others, to suggest the importance of the training and development. Smith did say something to the effect of ‘kids need better advice,’ but I don’t know that it was directed at Tate.
