Game Thread THE GAME: Ohio State 14, TSUN 3 (final)

Running Backs

http://www.theozone.net/football/2007/Michigan/runningbacks.htm

The Ozone article talks discusses the RBs and their health. The Youtube video says it all about Beanie.

[ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Rwzsmz1KRvQ]YouTube - Chris "Beanie" Wells - Ohio State RB #28[/ame]

The picture of *Hart cries out for a caption.

"I knew I wanted to guarantee something here but I forgot what it was."

Or maybe the furled eyebrow and look in his eyes is the pain in his leg.

I was just watching the College Football show on NFL Network, and I have to wonder where they find some of these guys from.

The guy closed the show saying the Ivy League teams could contend with the Big 10 and that the Big 10 was "yesterday's news". What a fuck stick. I can't wait till bowl season when the Big 10 can kick some ass.

Was he a team-mate of Mark May? I'd like to see Harvard, Princeton or Yale with a BCS bowl team sometime in this decade or next. :)

Sounds like this guy has very little interest in his credibility.

Just wait for the deafening silence when the Big Ten either runs or comes close to running their bowl games.

"The Game" Preview is posted. Let's give these folks a ton of credit for all the hard work and dedication they have displayed this season. I know personally (and some of them [the noobs] found out the hard way) how much time and effort goes into producing just one of these previews. They are doing it weekly ... on a tight turnaround ... all for the love of the Buckeyes and this community. They have my unending thanks and admiration ... hopefully yours as well.

Replying quickly to the "B10 is weaker than the Ivy League" tangent, here are some dates to circle when it comes to conference redemption in 2008:

8/30 - MSU at California
8/30 - Illinois vs Missouri (St. Louis)
9/13 - Ohio State at USC
9/20 - Oregon at Purdue

Sadly, the best I could find from the rest of the conference were games against Syracuse, Fresno State and Iowa State (Iowa). I also couldn't find a 2008 schedule for Indiana, which is strange.

Anyway, our conferences lessers are not doing us any favors. Wisconsin, Iowa, Penn State, Michigan, Minnesota, and Northwestern all have OOC slates that can best be described as Big Ten Network fodder.

Now, I would say that the other big conferences are ducking the B10, except that it sure does seem that OSU has no trouble scheduling big OOC matchups.
