THE GAME, tOSU at tCun, Sat. 11/25, 12pm ET, FOX

How do you figure?

Up until that last throw where hew as literally hit as he released it, dude was awesome....He absolutely improved and will improve more as we progress through the offseason and into next year.

He struggled with the same things early in the year as he did today. And he wasn't awesome, late throws, inaccurate throws, bad decisions, wide open receivers missed. He wasn't quite a walking disaster but it's the same stuff all year.

The sad thing is that I think we played our best. Our best just isn't that great. This was like a greatest hits of 2023 OSU problems:

- When the OL fails, it fails HARD.
- McCord craps himself under pressure.
- Defense limits big plays but can't get off the field.
- Other team busts out every trick in their book while Ryan Day calls a scared, weak game.
- Linebackers are slow in coverage and bite on any kind of playaction because of it.
- DEs can't generate any sort of pressure without breaking contain.
- Special teams is a disaster.

I don't know what the problem is. I don't know if it's the players or Day being passive, Larry Johnson losing a step, Parker Fleming's extra chromosome. I don't know. But something has to be changed here.

I lean toward just letting Day go. I don't give a shit if you have confidence in your pressers or when you get off the bus or when you walk onto the field if you're going to call a game like a pussy either way.
