THE GAME, tOSU at tCun, Sat. 11/25, 12pm ET, FOX

Oh. Your talking some made up poster worthiness now?

I'll leave that to you and a few others. I don't care what rating any of you want to give me, of that I can assure no matter the topic.

Well, no. But I do think that there’s a level of general integrity that we’d all like to assume within and between us. It is what differentiates this place from others, or so I have largely been lead to believe. So, it’s as much a matter of personal pride as much as anything. If that doesn’t mean anything to you, then that’s all good.

lol he literally throws the ball to Johnson on the first one. Harrison was at no point open. Every time we pressured JJ he either ran for a first down or rolled out and made a play with his arm. McCord just shit his pants. That was the difference in the game.

lol thanks for playing (and illustrating what you don't understand)....go back to fucknuts or something.

Hardly. He put balls absolutely where they needed to be.

No one is saying he was perfect.

But he was capable of winning this game with his arm and nearly did so until the very end. There are FAR bigger issues than McCord.
The play where Ebuka was hit as the ball hit his hands - my amateur eye calls that a late throw. And hearing others with a better football IQ repeatedly say he doesn't go through the progressions well fits with what we saw today imo. I think a large part of him getting the job was his high school rapport with MHJ - not by being an NFL caliber QB. If they would have played us 10v11 like ND then he would have eaked out the win.

So by the "next name has to be guaranteed better" you are proposing then we should have kept Cooper.
Cooper lost 43 games in 13 years…. Days lost what 6 or 7 games over 5 years? Cooper would have been gone much sooner in the current environment. Cooper was let go because he couldn’t beat the TCUN, but he also didn’t have the success outside of the game to merit keeping the job. I’m not saying the next name had to be guaranteed better. I am saying that the next guy has to at least be equal and I believe there are very few candidates that are realistic shots for OSU that would be equals.
