THE GAME, tOSU at tCun, Sat. 11/25, 12pm ET, FOX

And for added salt to the wound, a former douchebag HS friend that I haven't spoken to since we were 17 is tweeting a bunch of "go blue" shit right now. Apparently, he's a big tsun fan because I went to Ohio State. I won't doxx him, but just leave it at that the son of a bitch never left Reno, majored in fraternity at Nevada-Reno and parlayed that into a fast-paced and exciting job working at the Hertz counter at the Reno airport. Later, he became a chronically unemployed drunk whose wife left him. He had to have supervised visitation with his kids and constantly failed to pay his child support. Enjoy "your" victory, asshole..

Say what you want about the D, we held them to enough a points a solid offensive performance would have been enough to win.

Henderson was getting nowhere most of the game running into the pile. If we were playing Purdue we would shift Henderson wide at times, put some wides in motion, throw those arm punt 50/50 balls in double coverage to mhj and watching him pull them in or pick up dpi.

Last year we have the offense and bad D. This year we have a mid QB and still can have a good O against good teams if Day would just play to win and not to lose in big games. I would rather had us fall on our swords and get boat raced playing the offense that we would play against the weak conference teams than turtle up when we are facing a stiff matchup.

Mccord ain't it, but imo we had a better chance if day took some chances instead of relying on him to be a game manager and eek out a win.

Disclaimer: I'm drunk and medicated now.

The one where they took ~7 minutes off the clock and kick

yeah heard the Jimmy/Joes argument after last year….its not hard to believe with the shitty recruiting classes we have had…wait what….

I think that the experience goes some to equalize the recruiting rankings. But your point is well taken. Class for class, I think that the tOSU Jimmys and Joes are better than theirs are, they just happen to have Jimmy and Joe’s older brothers too.

Harbaugh out coached or out cheated Day result is same. You know vacating wins is so 2011. That’s not happening . Three in a row we fans own it ..hope those in charge do.

I wish they'd mention the last 2 games were played during this scandal. While we had the current NFL MVP QB. I have a problem with at least one of those losses. Maybe not today but at least last year. At home. With Stroud.

Come on.

Yeahhhh, the D didn’t “lose” the game, but they gave up enough runs and long drives they don’t belong out of the conversation entirely. They bowed up to force some FGs, but gave up too much TOP and waayyyyy too many yards on 3rd and long that allowed them to go on 4th and short multiple times. Make those 4th and 4s and they are punting.
D let scUM score on every 2nd half drive. They are absolutely culpable for this loss. Period.

I don't know about that either. He was pretty much a non-factor in a couple games this season.

Here, he made a (physical) mistake and it seems like he's getting a pass for it because it's much easier to blame the passer 13 yards away than the guy 1 yard away getting beat physically.
It's wasn't just that play. MCCORD gave him a great chance in man, threw a ball with tons of air under it for Marv to run under, and he just pulled up and let it bounce. At leas 3 plays where he pulled up early. He seemed to play either tight or lazy you be the judge. He definitely seemed to struggle with the physical approach they came at him with. Hate to see a legend go down like that. As I said I assume he will opt out and has played his last down as a Buckeye.

I mean on that first int couldn't he have at least blown the defender up right at the int spot to give the defense a chance? Not meaning to dwell, on it but it became the whole game in one play.

That's kind of what I keep saying RE: the first INT. He got boxed out.

In another game, the kid made a play. In this game, given all the cheating stuff going on your thinking gets a little colored by what has been revealed but in the end, hat tip to the TCUN player.
