The Polls (AP, Coaches, & CFP, etc.)

the only problem i have with dinich's tweet is that as things stand right now in september, the door is wide open for the sec to get 3 teams into the playoff.

bama goes undefeated except for loss to lsu.
lsu goes undefeated except for loss to georgia.
georgia goes undefeated.

bingo, bango, bongo...

bama
lsu
georgia
clemson

no undefeated team from the b1g, b12, or p12 deserves to get in over a 1-loss sec team.

Yes. There will be upsets though. Although if an undefeated OSU didn't get in (which won't happen), I'd be on board with sending all of Ohio down South to burn it down again.

And you know EACCPN is going to make excuses should Clemson drop a game at some point....

10/14 Have 2 SEC teams in the Playoffs. :slappy:

I know we're supposed to understand Alabama goes to the Playoff every year but...

So far they've played: DUKE & NEW MEXICO STATE

Impressive.

Honestly.... no one should give a fuck about the rankings at this point w/ this data.

Clearly if Texas doesn't knock off Oklahoma in their single tough game this year, freakin Ruprecht is going to the CFP again.

Problem with not giving a fuck about the rankings this early is that we've seen time and again how the CFP committee is influenced by the preseason polls. It's a self-fulfilling prophecy at this point. I AM shocked at how many of those writers have Ohio State at 4 though. Pleasantly surprised.

I said it before months ago, ESPN starts with the premise, "The SEC is the best conference in the country" and goes from there.
