Despite what some seem to believe, officials are trained and evaluated. The guys who are graded poorly don't get big games like bowls and playoffs. Amazingly, they're still not perfect...kind of like the players and coaches.

We've all seen them try to implement the targeting rule.

If they have an organization with grades and such that's fantastic but being the tallest midget doesn't make one tall.

Whatever training they are receiving isn't good enough.

Since the ref thread has been bumped can someone please explain to me how any human being could look at the video of the Taylor non fumble and say that it was undisputedly a fumble?
