XB1 The Xbox One, AKA The Greatest thing EVER Created (that Haters Gonna Hate)

What's the difference? Bragging rights? Cause I don't think I can tell.
Funny, that is the same response of the many 360 owners who are not compelled to upgrade.

But it has fantasy football and a DVR, which is really compelling given that I have plenty of both already.

I don't really give a shit what anyone else gets. I got the xb1 because my gf's son wanted it for his xmas/bday gift, and because I figured the next Halo wouldn't be on 360. I'm happy with my purchase. I really can't tell the difference between resolutions and fps. I don't play fantasy anything and I could use more dvr space. Ill have to look into that.

Eh, honestly for many people the difference is negligible, or they may not even notice it. If you have a larger TV you can probably tell the difference though. For instance, I can tell the difference between 1080p and 720p on my 82" TV, but on the 40" it's impossible unless I'm up really close.

I've never understood why people care so much about graphics over gameplay anyways

Coming from a guy with 600 NES games, gameplay definitely trumps graphics any day of the week. However, when you're talking about today's era of games where something like 75% of the titles are released across multiple platforms, it's nice knowing which one is going to deliver the best eye candy. It certainly isn't like the 80s and 90s console battles between Nintendo and Sega, graphics should always be #2 or lower on priorities.

I can understanding wanting better graphics

but to me at least, you have to do A LOT of studying to find differences in graphics between platform games right now. I've seen comparison pics, and yea I can notice some, but none of it matter to me,

OH MY GOD THE COLOR OF THAT CLOUD IS AMAZING!!!

I think X1 will get better graphics as the devs understand the console more (same can be said for Sony I know)

We all know launch games (or launch window games) look like crap compared to games launched later in the cycle

That is true for previous generations, but this is the first console generation in which the entire industry is in the x86 processors. Devs have a lot more experience with the architecture than say, X360 or PS3... Just sayin' the graphical improvements won't be as much as for this generation as they were for last generation's...
