Things that annoy me..,,

Thump

Hating the environment since 1994
  • 1). All of the people who “order groceries” thus causing me to dodge or be blocked by store employees pushing around minivan-sized carts.

    2) In the same vein, DoorDash or any food delivery service. I never eat food in my car so if I go to “The Border”, I am going inside but there are 20 DoorDash and drive through orders in front of me.

I’ve seen people have to wait 45 mins. or longer for their food.

Close the dining room if you don’t have the manpower to serve all of your customers. :smash:

    3) People who do not stack their used plates/cups for their server at a restaurant to make it easier for the clean-up crew.

4). People currently complaining about showing a Walmart worker their receipt if asked. They are just doing their job, cut them some slack.

    5) People looking for confrontation at all times. (See #4 above.)

    That’s all for now.

    I agree on all accounts.

Side note, an ex of mine once ordered groceries for us. The delivery guy forgot something, so he came back later (didn't tell us this) and showed up with the item + a bouqet of flowers. I answered the door and he was surprised. I thanked him for the flowers and asked what they were for? He left quickly. Considering how red his face turned when it wasn't my gf, fuck that guy.

That's why everyone needs to be a server for 1 year. You're drink or ranch dressing is not important. It'll come.

What about people who start a thread about things that annoy them (aren't those called "pet peeves") instead of including that in the thread about pet peeves?

What about areas with no left-turn lanes? East side of Cleveland has a big fear of left-turn lanes. Are they bad luck or something? Did some city architect lose his wife to a pro-left-turn lane guy, or something? It's insane. The road is barely wide enough for 4 lanes - 2 going each direction. Then you get the guys riding bicycles. And I get it - share the road and all. So cars need to zurp into the left lane. But then some fuckhead is turning left. And really, he's just going where he needs to go - he's just a "fuckhead" because I want to go and no one is going. And it's not like he can take a lane out of the oncoming traffic's side. So we wait and wait and wait for a gap in the oncoming traffic. Meanwhile, the bicyclist passes us on the right. So cars start trying to get in the right lane, and don't you dare try to get in the right lane before me. Now we have cars cutting each other off. Then, the guy finally turns left, so people are trying to get back in the left lane to turn left at some spot ahead. Or, you're at a traffic light trying to turn left, in the left of 2 lanes, which is also a straight lane. The oncoming traffic also has 2 lanes, and the left-turners ahead aren't directly in front of you - they're offset, because that's also a straight lane. So you can't see around them. Then you get the guy who wanted to go straight, and didn't realize the guy in front was turning left because he didn't use a turn signal (another pet peeve), so he has to get in the right lane to go around the guy in front. I saw an accident because the guy cut off someone in the right lane. "SCREW EVERYONE!!! I'M MORE IMPORTANT THAN YOU ARE!!!"

I could probably write a book about left-turn lanes and the anger I feel when there isn't one.

Did you catch a flight this morning?

Not using the left lane to pass and then move over. So, >50% of drivers in Ohio. I will give michigan drivers credit as they pass and move over. Plus they speed like mad.

Also, every big truck owner who only uses the bed to transport recent scores at the warehouse clubs.

Finally and now that it is winter, people who own AWD vehicles with bald tires. If I have to explain it, you are guilty of it.

Always choosing the grocery cart with the loud or non-functioning wheel.:smash::smash::smash::smash:
The small things in life.. Had to make a grocery run.. got out of car, lady was unloading... I asked about her cart, she gave me thumbs up..
Skeptical... but soon... thrilled... no noises, all wheels turned, cart went straight... I was giddy
