Edit: Just realized what thread I’m in. The picture is not to imply that I’ve cooked or eaten or drank my Dogue.

Big celebration meal planned for Monday, unless the game is postponed. Heading to Costco. Prime filets, lobster tails, scallops, all cooked with sous vide then seared on the cast iron skillet, with sides of creamed spinach, garlic mushrooms, and stir fry. Not sure which I am looking more forward to, the meal or kicking Bama's ass. If I remember I will try to take some pictures.

Pretty good and fast (at home) fish and chips meal. Both the fish and chips (steak fries) bake in oven at 450° for 25 minutes. The above box of frozen fish from Aldi is better (seems to actually have more fish) than other name brands, etc. OK, it's probably not as good as the fish and chips that you would get in an English pub, but I didn't have to fly to London to get them either.....

What we have here is a nutmeg and orange zest spiced pound cake with a bourbon butter glaze that isn't super glazey... Supposed to be in a tube pan, which I thought I had, but couldn't find it... Oh well...
