Thursday Night: Broncos at Browns(PK)

You know, it was 2nd and 1, 3rd and 1, and 4th and 1. I know it's the 2 minute drill and all, but honestly, why not just run it up the middle and get a tough yard? You have to get a fresh set of downs.

They also had all their timouts. Thow once or twice but not three times. Once again dumb playcalling.

Romeo, without any shadow of a doubt, is the worst clock manager of all time.

It cannot be debated.

From wasting 40 seconds by taking a timeout too early, to think field goals are the correct call, to not running for a first down tonight to get a new set of downs with a full compliment of timeouts is just embarrassingly bad.

There is no way an NFL coach can be this bad as using timeouts and managing the clock, but he is. It is not an exagerration to say it is unbelievable.

This to me,indicates that you don't care for his clock management strategies.

Sorry I haven't read the entire thread because I don't know if I could take reliving that game again.

Re: Romeo's clock management:sick1:, I thought he should have called a T. O. when Denver got down to the Browns 10 yard line with a little under two minutes left in the game. Denver burned quite a bit of time before they scored and we all knew that they were going to score.
