I love how none of these threads make a darn bit of sense to a new recruitment follower because abbreviations are used on every mention of a recruit.

"With LF coming in, I dont know why we would need a JM or a TR... I say JT is just putting these feelers out there just to see how much YOE on RTO..."

Ugh people.

In all honesty, I've been here 3 years and I can't make head or tails of these threads either, much less your quote... Who wrote that, btw?

I have no idea what this means either, and I've been following recruiting since I signed up here.

On the last page there were three abbreviations:

1) TP - if you don't know this one, your buckeye fan card is being revoked

2) LJ - who BUKE called the most important recruit, and his opening line identified him as Joyner.

3) STA - where Riggs & LJ play football, as detailed by 'sta teammate'

Unless you're counting QB, RB, DB, etc.

edit: one more, CW which appeared after a discussion about Montana playing for Weis.

And fyi, the only time that "feelers" has been used in this thread has been in three quotes quoting smith288 and smith's original post that had the apparent non-quote. So yeah, you probably didn't understand because it actually doesn't make any sense! :tongue2:

I agree. It is an offshoot of the texting language. Although, on these boards you are not charged per letter, so there is no reason not to spell everything out. By the way, who is this JT fellow. He sounds like an important person.
