Tom Lemming: It doesn't look good, but they do have an interest in Latravis Washington from Bradenton (Bayshore), Fla. He'll be visiting during the Michigan game. He is also looking at Nebraska and West Virginia. Washington has yet to be offered by the Buckeyes. It is more than likely they'll be without a quarterback in the 2007 class.

So Tom Limpthing thinks we'll head into 2007 with just three QBs on scholarship?

Why not? A lot of people close to the team have the same feeling. *shrug*

Lemonhead doesn't think we have a shot at Anthony Davis, go figure.

Umm that is nowhere near what he said.

Is he totally worthless?

I think the real question is "how many preteen boys does he have locked up in his basement?".

What did Lemming think of Troy Smith. I remember fans hated him for saying that he thought Zwick wasn't that great of a prospect and overhyped by the "Ohio machine"- well, he was right about that, but I don't know what he thought about Smith. I remember Duane from bucknuts always said Smith was going to be the starter.

Sorry Muck. What I meant was he left out Ohio State as a possibility for Anthony Davis the first time he addressed the topic. I did however notice later that he conceded to the fact that Ohio State is a contender after somebody flat out asked him if Davis was going to Ohio State.

Lemonhead conveniently leaves out Ohio State as a possible destination for somebody everytime he does a chat. And everytime he does it, it just ticks off people. I guess that's just what separates the good and the bad for this business.

I don't ready any of Lemmings garbage so I don't know if he makes a concertd effort to "forget" Ohio State on players lists...I'll just have to give him the benefit of the doubt on this one.

(Mainly because his opinions are meaningless to me. :) )

Columbia, MD: Does Ohio State have any prospects @ QB to replace Troy Smith for the future.

"Joe Barksdale is another possibility, though I heard both Michigan and Notre Dame have dropped him."

Do you think maybe there is a reason he has been dropped by both schools? I think there is, from what I read said he possibly already committed to our staff but will announce later.

If you don't consider Notre Dame, you are a second-level recruit that they didn't want anyways. They seem to be always a step ahead of everyone else on the recruits, but then when they $hit down their own leg during the season, it's because they don't YET have the recruits they need....

I feel bad. I just got off my third shift job at 7 am, and I hit up my local grocery for some glazed donuts, and now I feel as though I should have asked Lemonhead whether or not they were good enough for Notre Dame.

Always remember, God created Notre Dame fans specifically for our amusement. He's a swell Guy. :)
