Game Thread tOSU at Cal Bears, Sep 14, 7 ET, Fox

I can't wait either for the game but I must say there is nothing like the buildup of a prime time game. I love this time right now maybe more so than the game itself. Got food, drinks and football games all day before we get to see our team run out onto the football field.

I use to wish time would just fast forward to the games but the excitement just prior to the game is just as awesome. Especially if you are at the gameday activities when we play night games at the shoe and get to go to the games. I personally will never attend another day game after going to see the texas, wisconsin, and nebraska games under then lights. The build up with friends tailgating all day was awesome! I can see why the atmosphere is so electric because I have a feeling the other 105, 560 fans at those games were working themselves up for 12 hours too!

Flip side though I hate watching the teams walk on to the field to shake hands because that means another week of work till the bucks play again. That is of course unless we are in a tight ball game and we have the lead. Then I usually just want the win!

Go bucks! Enjoy the pre game all day today because its a awesome build up to our team taking the field!

We'll see who how funny this is on selection Sunday when Ohio State is left coming out of the NC game selection holding nothing but its dick. Anyone who thinks we get in if there are three undefeated teams (or gets the #2 slot if it comes down to a 1-loss Ohio State vs. a 1-loss Oregon or SEC team) is seriously delusional.

Now, everyone can go back to rooting for Rubber Fredo.

When haas an undefeated, untied tOSU team EVER not played for the NC? Or, before the BCS, not ever been ranked in the top two?
I'd bet you have to go WAY back for that one.
Yeah, we've been hosed with on loss before - like in 1998, and the '73 team with one tie lost out on the NC vote, but every year I can remember if we were undefeated in reg season, if we won the bowl game, we would have been NC

When has the Big Ten ever had this low of a national reputation? We're playing in a dumpster fire of a conference. Our "marquee" ooc team is mediocre at best. The espn hype machine will swing into full gear to ensure an SEC-Oregon game, and the computers will hurt us more than help us.

I don't care what happened in the Woody and Bo era. If it comes down to three undefeateds: SEC, Oregon/Stanford and Ohio State. We WILL be left out.

Anyways, all in good disagreement about what's best for Ohio State. Enjoy the game. I'll be missing it while sitting in BA 294. Leaving for O'Hare now.

If we are undefeated we get in pure and simple. No way they hold us out with a 25 game winning streak (which is now and will be the longest in the nation). Now if we loss a game and there are a couple of one loss teams then I would tend to agree with you....

With the way the BIG has looked today so far, I can't even begin to think about undefeated...I'm just focusing on a win out there in CA. Go Bucks!

Don't see an undefeated SEC team this year. Louisville will probably go undefeated, but the computer will hurt them worse, and we started ranked ahead of them anyway. Re: computer, I guess we'll have to keep rooting for scUM and NoD to keep winning, although I'm sure I'm not capable of that.

Have a good flight, and if you see a scUMmer on board, make sure to congratulate them on their big win over Akron today!
