Game Thread tOSU at Illinois, Nov 16, 12 ET, ESPN

I haven't seen every Illinois game this year, I'm sure most of their fans say the same, but I think this offense will be a great test to see how far the OSU defense has really progressed.

It's a spread attack with a mobile, accurate QB and the primary weapon is the tail back. The OSU back 7 are going to have to cover and tackle in space while the front 4 are going to be negated somewhat by not having a statue of a QB to pin their ears back and go after.

Its also worth noting that its the style of offense FSU plays with about 1/10th of the talent. Just sayin.

No way they play enough defense to win but I will be very interested in what their offense can do, just as I will be watching what next weeks opponent can do. Completely different animals than Iowa/PSU/Purdue offenses.

Those ratbastards beat us at home when I made the death march from Atlanta to Columbus in 2007. I hope there's enough institutional memory in there somewhere to exorcise Juice Williams from my nightmares.

He's no longer a football player, therefore he loses said cool nickname. Isiah, from now on, please.

Edit: not trying to discount Mr. Williams accolades, he is currently playing for the Chicago Slaughter.

Not sure if football team or butcher company.

I desperately need somebody to talk me out of driving out to (and back from) this game on Saturday. All responses will be considered.

Go.
