I hate to even bring it up, but every time I see something by Mauti, I think of MaxBuck's positive thoughts regarding him.

Sorry, Max, had to do it.
No need to be sorry. I openly admit that I love Mike Mauti as a player, and the Buckeyes would be a much better team if we had a MLB as good as he is.

As for his comments about PSU, he loves his school and has a strong allegiance to it. I can't knock the guy for that. Does he have blinders on as regards the failures of Joe Paterno? Of course he does. We all have faults. In the grand scheme of things, I can't get too upset over this one.

Bashing Penn State does fuck-all to help the victims of child sex abuse. That's a horrible problem that sneering at "Ped State" does nothing to solve. So long as Buckeye fans congratulate themselves for doing jack squat to solve the problem other than ridiculing Penn State and its fans, they are as delusional as the Penn State fans who claim Paterno was not culpable.

To be fair, I ridiculed that asshat fanbase long before the child rape scandal.

Going to have to stream this one from work. Kinda worried about this game. Think our Offense matches up well with their D and if our D can cover the flat I think we win easily. We just don't cover the flat and think Ped St. will use that against us and keep them in the game. With Brax being back I'm more confident. 32-24 Buckeye victory.

+1

I'm a Buckeye fan and a CFB. As a Buckeye fan, I want OSU to beat the brown out of everyone. As a CFB fan, I love some players from other teams for the way they play. Don't want those players to win, and don't want them to do well against the Bucks, but I appreciate the quality of football players they are.

As for Penn State, not my favorite fan base because of about 20 years of obnoxious behavior. There is some disease over there where they live in a false reality of Nittany Lion football. They beat us every 3 or 4 years and act like they own us.

Right now they are on a 5 game winning streak - which is remarkable given their start and circumstances - but it's not like they have beaten any elite teams - just a few good to decent ones. So now they are thinking that a 4 year bowl ban and playing with 65 schollies is nothing because O'brien can eat spam and poop ice cream.

I want reality to be put right in their face Saturday night. I want a beatdown that will show them where they are and give them a glimpse of where they are heading.

When their season is over, there will be more defections, when those top recruits realize who they will have to play with, most of them will go elsewhere, and with those 65 schollies, they will essentially be a 1AA/FCS team playing in the BIG. End of rant.

PSU winning on Saturday would be the football equivalent of Stalin having a successful five year plan.

They must be stopped before their heads explode.
Stalin did have a successful 5 year program. It was his program to stay in power.
Unfortunately it involved the death of over 50 million russians.
